SURFACE PREPARATION AND THE PREPARATION OF GLUE

  • First check that the surfaces of the walls are dry, not crumbling and are able to absorb moisture.
  • Remove old wallpaper from the walls, thoroughly clean them and fill in all the cracks. If necessary, follow with an adhesive primer “GARANT”: spread glue on the wall, keeping the proportions specified in the table of apply performance on the packaging.
  • Quickly stir the water and making it the cycle slowly sprinkle in the contents of the package  along the edge of the bucket. After the time indicated on the packaging, vigorously stir the resulting mixture: the glue is ready.

APPLICATION OF THE GLUE ON THE WALLPAPER

  • Cut a sheet of wallpaper exactly the height of the walls, adding 5 cm above and below.
  • Apply the adhesive with a brush on the opposite side of the sheet of wallpaper evenly from the center to the edge. Do not allow the adhesive to the upper surface of the wallpaper, in the case of accidental contact, wipe the surface clean with a damp cloth.
  • Fold the 2 edges of the sheet to the middle, glued side butt.
  • Allow the glue to soak 5 to 19 minutes.

GLUING THE WALLPAPER

  • Level measure on the wall of a vertical line approximately 45 cm from the corner or the window.
  • Apply first sheet of wallpaper from the top wall along a vertical line.
  • Flatten with brush from the top down and from the center to the edge, removing air bubbles.
  • Cut off the excess with a wallpaper knife.
  • Glue the next sheet of wallpaper back to back with the previous one.
  • Upon completion of work tools can be cleaned with warm water.
